Description:To W 1/4L oval Portrait of Duke of Cumberland with text: " His Royal Highness Duke of Cumberland &c, &c, &c" Circular portrait with two classical figures surrounding it- one angel and one classically dressed woman, a suffering, defeated Highlander in a kilt with broken weapons stares up from the ground at the portrait. Bottom text: "Published according to Act of Parliament Sept. 29th 1746 by ye Proprietor R. Forrest & Sold at ye Plume of Feathers in Windmill Street, St. James's London. Pr 6.d Of whom may be had curious print of ye Duke for a Watch-case"
