- The HOLY Bible containing the Old Testament and the
New. London: printed by the assigns of, John Bill deceas'd and
by Henry Hills, and Thomas Newcomb ..., 1682. Bound with:
The PSALMS of David in metre. ... Allowed by the authority of
the General Assembly of the Kirk of Scotland. Edinburgh:
printed by the Heirs and Successors of Andrew Anderson, 1699.
Bound in black morocco tooled in gold to a herringbone design.
With contemporary inset ownership initials.
- A CORRECT copy of the poll, as taken at Coventry, on
Thursday, December 1; Friday, December 2; Saturday, December 3;
Monday, December 5; and Tuesday, December 6, 1768. London,
1769. Unrecorded poll book in a binding almost certainly made in
London, but heavily influenced by Scottish bookbinding of the mid
18th century.
- MILTON, John. Paradise lost, a poem. Glasgow: printed
by Robert and Andrew Foulis, 1770. An outstanding binding in
exceptional condition by James Scott of Edinburgh in high quality
crimson French morocco with elaborate tooling. Style represents
transition between the Chinoiserie-influenced and the
neo-classical.
- MILLER, Patrick. The elevation, section, plan, and views,
of a triple vessel, and of wheels. L'elevation, la section, le
plan, et les vues, d'un vaisseau triple, et des roues.
Edinburgh, 1787. Text in English and French. A presentation copy
bound by William Scott, Edinburgh, and distinguished by the use of
a ship tool. Was previously owned by Andrew Lumisden (1720-1801), a
Jacobite, by Colonel James Scott (1830-1903) and by the Institution
of Naval Architects

1848. Illustrations copied from the Book of Hours of the Duke of
Anjou, King of Sicily and Jerusalem. Bound in red hard grain
morocco with onlays of brown, citron, green and black blocked in
gold.

édition. Paris, 1898. Bound in brown niger morocco. Tooled in gold
at Glasgow School of Art, winter 1898/9.
- STEVENS, Wallace. The blue guitar. Etchings by David
