This is a list of some of the major additions made to the collections in the course of the year 1st April 1997 to 31st March 1998. It should be noted that all printed book listings are selective, and, in particular, do not include modern UK and Irish printed material acquired through the Library's legal deposit privilege; manuscript listings are comprehensive. Most of the printed items have been catalogued and can be found in the Library's online catalogue.
