Reading Rooms
Music material is consulted in two reading rooms in the George IV Bridge Building:
- Printed music and books on music after 1800 in the General Reading Room.
- Printed and manuscript music, as well as books on music before 1800, special collections and sound recordings in the Special Collections Reading Room.
- CD-ROMs, CDs and microform collections in the Media Room.
The opening times for the General and Special Collections Reading Rooms are:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 09.30-20.30
Wednewday: 10.00-20.30
Saturday: 09.30-13.00
