Suspended animation
I can neither take in
Nor release air
Through the needle's eye
I play
The temples beat
The magic ancient sound comes out
I sit still
Composed
Not revealing my joy
We conspire to hide
The love affair
Playing the right notes
Starting a relationship
Is hard like Mozart —
Every note exposed.
