- Map images: Browse through thousands of digitised maps of Scotland, including historical maps with Google map, satellite and terrain layers.
- eResources (formerly called 'licensed digital collections'): Thousands of subscription journals, books and websites are available for you to use free online if you have a National Library of Scotland library card and an address in Scotland. Full-text searching and browsing. Other resources are available to everyone.
- Learning zone: Resources for learners of all ages, particularly secondary school teachers and students. Includes short videos on collections and on how to use the Library.
