At the age of 29, Portobello-born Emun Elliott has already made a serious impact on the acting world. He has proved himself to be a versatile, multi-faceted and extremely talented actor who can turn his hand to both drama and comedy on the stage, screen and radio.

His credits include the multi-award-winning National Theatre of Scotland's 'Black Watch', BBC1's period drama 'The Paradise', Hollywood blockbuster 'Prometheus' and epic fantasy drama 'Game of Thrones'.

We are delighted to welcome Emun to the National Library of Scotland for one night only to discuss what has inspired him during his life. He will be talking to his friend and old English teacher at George Heriot's, Cameron Wyllie.

Book now to hear more from Emun about why famous Scots — including Robert Burns, Robert Louis Stevenson and Edwin Morgan — have given him inspiration. Unique treasures from our collections relating to his inspirations will be on display on the evening.
