Antarctic penguins: A study of their social habits', by Dr George Murray Levick. (Heineman, London, 1914)
Dr Levick was part of Captain Scott's British Antarctic Expedition of 1910-1913. As well as reaching the South Pole, the expedition's aims included scientific research.
Levick, a zoologist and medical officer, had a chance to study Adelie penguins, and this book records his findings.
