Public holidays

The National Library of Scotland closes for public and local holidays during the year. Some Scottish Screen Archive holiday closures vary from those that apply to the Edinburgh buildings.

On some dates, our exhibitions and Visitor Centre in the George IV Bridge Building will open for part of the afternoon.
