North Reading Rooms
The North Reading Rooms consist of the Manuscripts Reading Room and the Rare Books and Music Reading Room. ('Rare books' = pre-1851 printed books and all printed books in special collections.) We also have an enquiry room where a curator is on duty to provide specialist advice.
Most manuscript maps are available in the Map Library.
