ExpressView Image Browser Plug-In

The main advantages of using the plug-in are:

• Easier printing of the map image on screen
• Easier saving of the map image on screen
• Optional full-screen display of the map image on screen.

All map images can be zoomed and panned without a plug-in, but enhanced viewing options (now including a resizable image-viewing window, easier panning, and enhanced zooming with a zoom-level indicator) are available through the ExpressView browser plugin, which replaced the earlier MrSIDBrowser plugin in 2003.

The plug-in works under Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, 2003, and Vista, or Apple Mac OS X 10.2 and 10.3, and with the Internet Explorer 5.5 and later OR Firefox 1.5 and later, OR Safari.

We recommend that you download this by clicking on any of our map thumbnail images, select the View with plug-in option, and follow the on-screen auto-download instructions. Alternatively, go to the download section of www.lizardtech.com to download the file exview_setup.exe. Run this so that it installs Express View, and check that it creates two .dll files in the "C:\Program Files\LizardTech\Express View\" directory.
