Consultation shows support for key aims

Public responses to the Library's draft strategy for 2004-2009, Breaking through the walls, have been posted on our website. At the end of the consultation period earlier this year, comments had been received from more than 70 organisations and individuals from across Scotland, together with the British Library and the National Library of Wales. Reaction to the draft strategy revealed widespread support for key aims such as improving access to the collections, developing services for visitors and remote users and more extensive partnership working. Most of the responses are available as PDF files at: www.nls.uk/about-us/corporate-documents
