Schools competition for Christmas design
Talented young artists in Scotland are being invited to submit a seasonal design in the National Library of Scotland's first-ever Christmas card competition. In a move away from the traditional approach, the Library is looking to school children under 16 to come up with a design which, in the words of Education Manager Nat Edwards, will 'inject vibrancy and energy' into this year's official card. The competition runs until 30 September, and the best design will be on display at the Library in December.
