Picture-book bunny Miffy is loved by children and adults all over the world. Scotland gets a chance to see how she was created and developed when an interactive exhibition comes to the National Library next month.
'Happy Birthday Miffy!' was devised to mark the character's 50th anniversary. It also celebrates the work of Miffy's creator.
Dutch artist and illustrator Dick Bruna has released more than more than 100 pieces of artwork and memorabilia from his archive for the exhibition. Together with background information and a documentary film, they provide an in-depth look at the artist's long career.
During April and May, we are running a series of activities for families and pre-school groups. Details will be added shortly to our Events page.
'Happy Birthday Miffy!' is free, and runs from 30 March to 3 June. Read more about the Miffy exhibition.
