The National Library of Scotland's website recently won its second award since September.
Last year ours was voted 'Best Government Website' by the Web Marketing Association. The WebAward competition attracts international entries, and our competitors included the prestigious Library of Congress. A previous winner is the US Postal Service. The NLS site scored nine out of 10 or above in all seven categories.
At this year's Communicators in Business Scotland awards ceremony in Edinburgh, the site won the 'Best Use of the Web' category. NLS also took top prize for 'Best One-Off Publication', for the Annual Review 2005, and 'Best Communication Team'. The CiB awards have been held since 1997, and draw in entries from the private and public sector.
