The National Library of Scotland's award-winning magazine moves to online-only distribution from the latest issue, available from 11 May.
By switching from delivering printed copies of' 'Discover NLS' by post, NLS will make considerable savings on production and mailing costs. The move also lowers the Library's carbon footprint.
Visitors will still be able to relax in the NLS café with a copy of the magazine, as some paper copies will be provided in the George IV Bridge Building.
Leading the in-depth articles in Issue 21 is a six-page spread looking at Scotland's love affair with the big screen. It gives a preview of this summer's exhibition, 'Going to the pictures: Scotland at the cinema', which opens in June.
