Queen of Scots, with her name in
gold on the cover.
[Library shelfmark: RB.s.1598]
The National Library of Scotland's abundantly rich collections chart the influence of Scots at home and abroad, at work and at play.
From the earliest printed works, to the most exquisite examples of binding and extremely rare first editions, they tell us what Scotland was in the past, and help us understand its place in the world today.
Now we want to ensure that anyone who wants to access our collections and learn about Scottish heritage, wherever they are in the world, can do so with ease.
How you can help
We need your support to make this ambitious goal to Digitise Scotland's Heritage a reality.
Our most precious heritage collections, owing to their fragility, must be handled with exceptional care.
With your donation we can invest in the expertise and specialist equipment needed to ensure that our collections are opened up to as many people as possible, and are simultaneously safeguarded for the future.
If you are able to support our appeal please visit our Everyday Hero online donation page.
Thank you for your support.
