Adventuress, supporter of Charles Edward Stuart 6x8 1/2 3/4l Sit,1/2L Portrait of Jenny Cameron, sitting on a chair with arm resting on stone pillar with Classical themed large vase of flowers. In her hand she holds a miniature portrait- presumably of Prince Charles Edward Stuart. Text below in two columns, each with 4 lines: "While antient Poets treat of Amazons, Our Moderns outvie them in Camerons: Hills, Dales, and Mountains neer did me affright Nor even Culloden's most dreafull Fight. Twas then I ventured Life for ______s Cause. Defying Death or R-v-l-t-n Laws, and to my Joy find the same heat, same burning Is here as there will be till your returning,"
