Alan Taylor first met Muriel Spark in 1990 when he interviewed her for a press feature, and a long lasting bond was formed.
In this talk at the National Library of Scotland he discusses his friendship with the author as shared in his colourful, surprising and admiring memoir, 'Appointment in Arezzo'.
Introducing the talk was Colin McIlroy, the Library's Muriel Spark Project Curator.
