Audio recording of event on 8 November 2011
Brian Cox, one of Scotland's greatest actors, was our guest at a very special evening in early November.
Best known as the original Hannibal Lecter in 'Manhunter' , Brian has become a prolific screen actor. He has starred in many Hollywood blockbusters, such as 'X-Men', 'The Bourne Supremacy', 'Rob Roy' and 'Braveheart'.
With two Olivier awards, a BAFTA and an Emmy award under his belt, there really isn’t anything this man can't turn his hand to.
During the evening Brian talked about his many inspirations, from travel to the more obscure hotel rooms, and entertained the audience with many tales from his extraordinary life.
The actor was in discussion with Ginnie Atkinson, and David Finkelstein introduced the event.
