Online now is the application form for the Callum Macdonald Memorial Award 2006. Held annually, the competition celebrates skill and effort in the field of poetry publishing in pamphlet form. It was created by the National Library of Scotland in memory of Scottish literary publisher Callum Macdonald MBE, founder of Macdonald Publishers and Printers.
Applications are sought from publishers who are of Scottish origin, who live in Scotland, or who have a connection with Scottish culture. Entries should be in by 27 March. At the awards ceremony at the Library in May, the winner will receive the Callum Macdonald Quaich and £500 cash.
