Photographs recording the diversity of Scottish Asian communities are on show at the National of Scotland's new exhibition.
Chef, Edinburgh restaurant-owner and photographer Herman Rodrigues has been capturing Asian cultures and history in images since he arrived in Scotland from India 16 years ago.
'The new Scots' exhibition uses 50 of Herman's photographs to explore prominent themes of modern Asian life. It's the first time this exhibition has been seen in Scotland, although it has just completed a tour of nine cities in India.
Urdu and Punjabi translations of poems by Robert Burns are among Scottish Asian books, posters, pamphlets and letters from NLS collections which are also displayed.
'The new Scots' is free and runs until 22 May.
