The National Library of Scotland is hosting a digital roadshow next month that aims to preserve First World War memories.
'Lest We Forget' will give members of the public the chance to bring along items relating to the 1914-1918 war.
Volunteers and experts will be on hand to provide information about the items and to create a digital record of them.
The event takes place on Wednesday 3 October in the Library's George IV Bridge building in Edinburgh, from 14.00 until 18.00. Doors open at 13.30, and the last entry will be at 17.30. Visitors should note that no firearms or ammunition will be allowed in the building.
'Lest We Forget' is a collaborative project between between the Commonwealth War Graves Foundation and Oxford University.
Digital records created at the event will form part of a free-to-use digital archive that launches in November 2018 to mark 100 years since the end of the Great War.
