More services for visitors are returning to normal as we ease or remove restrictions introduced due to Covid-19.
Wearing a face covering is mandatory when you are inside the Library, unless you are exempt under government guidelines.
Hygiene measures remain in place.
You will be asked still to use Check in Scotland — NHS Scotland's Test and Protect service —when you visit. The QR code for scanning will be available at key points in the buildings, and paper forms are available for anyone who does not use a smartphone.
Please stay at home if you are unwell – anyone exhibiting symptoms of illness may be asked to leave.
Page updated: 27 September.
