The National Library of Scotland has begun its timetable to consider potential projects for the Scottish Cultural Heritage Consortium — Arts & Humanities Research Council (SCHC-AHRC) Collaborative Doctoral Partnership (CDP) 2021 awards.
All the Collaborative Doctoral Partnerships (CDPs) across the UK who have received third round awards are taking a co-ordinated approach to their selection timetables, including the SCHC.
All CDP proposals have a deadline for submission to their Selection Panels of 22 November 2020, and all will hold their Selection Panel meetings in early January 2021. This will allow us to advertise for students in February/March 2021, for a September/October 2021 start.
National Library of Scotland timetable:
January-July 2020 — development of proposals with partner supervisors.
By 30 September 2020 at 17.00 — first full draft of proposals to be completed and submitted to the internal National Library of Scotland assessment panel.
Early October 2020 — National Library internal assessment panel meets and gives feedback on first draft.
Early November 2020 — submission of revised drafts.
