About the Author
Born in Kelso in 1950, Alistair Moffat is one of Scotland's most beloved historians and cultural figures. He is a former Director of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, STV’s Director of Programmes, and Rector of the University of St Andrews. He is also the founder of the Borders Book Festival. Author of more than 30 books, 'To See Ourselves: A Personal History of Scotland Since 1950' is Moffat's most personal yet.
