THE RULES OF THE LIBRARY.
05.12.25
Don’t give in to the lure.
Please desist from; running, jumping, sliding on your knees,
no pushing, acrobatics, diving or fighting furniture.See yourself as others see you.
Do not kindle fire.
It is no coincidence that books make you look better.
Always save everything, it might come in handy later.
Be tender.
Don’t let an idea fall from orbit.
You must be aware that at some point you will have to decide
that you have done enough.After hours there can be no trespassing, no entry, no press access;
DO NOT FORCE THE DOORS.If you are not sure, ask questions, consider why you are here;
stay focused, stay on course.Keep an eye on what is going on around you;
do not separate the mind from the hand.Store all material with care; as water finds a hollow.
If it matters, it matters.
Always remember to focus on the sword and not the stone.
Don’t rule out the impossible. However when you find something
you have been looking for please refrain from spontaneous applause.Be alert; always be prepared for information to come to you in
unconventional forms, always look for new areas of interest.Make time for other books.
Walk softly and quietly, keep looking.
