Online school workshops

Online workshops last 45 minutes to an hour and will take place via Teams and Padlet.

These fun and informative workshops offer an introduction to the National Library of Scotland's resources and how to use them. They're particularly useful for students doing their Advanced Higher dissertations.

Each workshop will:

  • Introduce students to the Library

  • Demonstrate how to search for and identify useful sources in our main catalogue and eResources

  • Highlight citation tools for easy referencing

  • Test creative keyword skills with a timed competition

  • Give students time to practice searching the Library catalogues with staff on standby for support.
