Edinburgh 900: Stories of the city

Storytellers Nicola Wright and Donald Smith explore some surprising and touching experiences about life in Edinburgh. Told from the point of view of young people and children through time, come along to explore an ever-changing city.
About the speakers
Nicola Wright is a storyteller, historical interpreter, tour guide and trainer. She regularly provides entertaining and engaging storytelling workshops to schools and museums and is a firm advocate for children as storytellers. Nicola is storyteller in residence at the Trimontium Museum in Melrose and Trinity House Maritime Museum in Leith.
Donald Smith is a storyteller of Scotland, and noted performer and author. Inspired by his time at the School of Scottish Studies in Edinburgh, Donald became Director of The Netherbow Arts Centre and founding Director of the Scottish Storytelling Centre. He is currently Director of the Scottish International Storytelling Festival.
