Family History Fair

At this year's Family History Fair there will be stalls with experts from various organisations on hand to introduce their collections and answer questions about using materials to search for any missing details in your family history. There will also be several bookable talks held throughout the day in the George Washington Browne Room.
The National Library of Scotland will start the day by sharing the wealth of information that can be gathered from their maps from WW1 and WW2. For example, detailed trench maps can help you pinpoint the location where an ancestor served.
