Join us for a double bill of comedy horror in partnership with Glasgore film group.

We’re thrilled to host a screening of the 4K restoration of the cult classic film 'Killer Klowns from Outer Space' (1988), paired with a short film from our film archive.

In 'Killer Klowns' a group of teens must save their town from invading alien circus clowns that use popcorn-shooting guns to harvest humans in candy floss cocoons.

Brace yourself for a frightfully silly time!

This event will be held in the lecture theatre at Kelvin Hall. Tickets are free but limited so please only book your spot if you are down to clown.

Costume contest

Dress to impress in your best clown outfit. There's a prize for whoever's get-up is the most to die for.

About Glasgore

Glasgore is a horror and cult film discussion group that takes place at the National Library of Scotland's Moving Image and Sound Archive at Kelvin Hall in Glasgow.

It happens on the first Wednesday of the month from 6pm to 7:30pm for those aged 18 and over.
