About the speaker
Ceit Langhorne is a PhD researcher at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig; University of the Highlands and Islands. She is in her final year, investigating the cultural ecology of the Gaelic Heroic Narrative in the Scottish Gàidhealtachd.
Ceit also works in a freelance capacity with Gaelic cultural heritage more generally. She uses these narratives, songs and characters in creative artistic and storytelling practices within local communities. This helps to facilitate a re-engagement and revitalisation of these specifically local stories and their environments.
