National Library of Scotland
A bookshelf full of paperback books.

Every second Friday of each month.

Join curator Ian Scott to learn about the history of the paperback book, and how this affordable format changed our reading habits from the 1930s onwards.

Library Social is a series of relaxed events inspired by themes and items from the Library's collection. Sessions may include music, crafts or storytelling depending on the theme. Refreshments are provided.

These sessions are for people living with dementia and their families, carers and supporters. Please contact Learning & Outreach Officer, Beverley Casebow, at learning@nls.uk to reserve a place or for more information.
