The Library's manuscript collections are available on request for consultation by all with a genuine reason for doing so. Manuscripts may be consulted under supervision in the Special Collections Reading Room.
The Library offers a wide range of copying services and is happy to supply copies of manuscripts from its collections. There may be occasions when material cannot be copied due to copyright or ownership restrictions or for preservation reasons. Orders must be in writing (in person, by post or email), as telephone orders are not accepted. For prices and further information see the 'Copying services' pages.
Anyone wishing to reproduce manuscript material held in the Library is asked to write or email the Head of Archives and Manuscript Collections. For further information, see permission to reproduce.
