Doors open day at George IV Bridge: Collection showcases

Join us for a special opportunity to view collection material and meet the staff who care for it. Our bookable Collection Showcases offer a glimpse behind the scenes at the National Library.

You will have the chance to speak with curatorial, conservation, and reading room staff. They will share insights into their daily work and the treasures they look after.

Each showcase lasts approximately thirty minutes.

Bags and outdoor jackets must be left in a locker before the showcase begins. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled time.
